a break in 2011, once again I plan to lead a party of pre 1930 Standards to Ireland for the Gordon Bennett International Rally,
as organised by the Irish Veteran and Vintage car Club. Already, the owner of the 1912 Brighton Torpedo (which is an
Irish registered car) has already indicated that it would like to participate and I would like to thank the owner for
his kind invitation to join him on his car. Other entrants are always welcome and advice on Ferry Crossings and
accommodation can be given to those interested.

marks the Centenary of the introduction of the model S - Standards' first entry into the light car market, and their first
model produced by volume production methods. I have booked the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester for this
important milestone event and I hope that this might produce the largest number of model S survivors ever seen together
in one place.
